how we work

· We will have an initial meeting with you to discuss your requirements. You need to think about your likes and dislikes and what you want from your garden plus any budget you may have in mind.

· Next we carry out a survey. We will measure your garden and note down any important features both good and bad about your plot and the surrounding area. Sometimes we will need to carry out a full level survey particularly if you have a very steep site.

· Our design process begins. We will create a layout design with cross sections where necessary showing all the major features in the garden.

· At our next meeting we will discuss the layout and make any changes necessary. Then we can go on to talk about materials to be used. There may be construction drawings to discuss, particularly if the design includes bespoke features.

· When the fun bit arrives there are two options, either we can make suggestions as to the types of plants suitable for specific areas in your garden or you can decide to have a full planting plan produced. A planting plan will give detailed instructions on plant species, pot sizes and quantities.

· Once the design is finalised we can produce a detailed estimate to carry out the works and upon completion of our contract you will be programmed into our work schedule.
